Wolfsblut VetLine Hypoallergenic

For food allergies and intolerances

Wolfsblut VetLine Hypoallergenic is a complete dietetic feed for adult dogs to reduce intolerance to ingredients and nutrients in connection with chronic itching, otitis externa, and gastrointestinal diseases such as IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) or colitis.

Is your dog suffering from bothersome itching all over their body or particularly in their ears? Do they lick and chew their paws? Or do they suffer from digestive issues and diarrhea? The cause could be a food allergy or food intolerance. An allergy involves an overreaction of the immune system to certain proteins. With an intolerance, however, the immune system is not involved. However, because the symptoms are very similar in both cases, a visit to the veterinarian is essential. After a diagnosis, an elimination diet can be a helpful tool to identify the specific triggers for your dog's abnormal physical reactions and to avoid them long-term.

Wolfsblut VetLine Hypoallergenic helps your dog with food allergies and intolerances:

1. By using a single, high-quality protein source: Horse meat is considered hypoallergenic and has a very low allergenic potential. This reduces intolerance to ingredients and nutrients. In other words: The shorter the list of ingredients, the lower the risk of an undesirable reaction.

2. Reducing carbohydrate sources to sweet potatoes and pumpkin also lowers the allergenic potential.

3. The food is ideal as an elimination diet: In this diet, the food components are reduced as much as possible, so you first observe for a few weeks whether your dog's symptoms decrease. If so, you can gradually increase the food components and find out exactly which components your dog reacts to.

4. By refraining from grains, a species-appropriate diet is also made possible for nutritionally sensitive dogs.

5. The special food contains a high proportion of essential fatty acids, which can inhibit inflammatory reactions and thus alleviate the symptoms of an allergy or intolerance.
