Wolfsblut VetLine WEIGHT MANAGEMENT is a complete dietetic feed for adult dogs to reduce overweight and regulate glucose supply in diabetes mellitus. Overweight in dogs can be determined, for example, by not being able to feel the ribs when petting and the waist no longer being visible. Overweight can lead to various diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, joint problems due to excessive strain on the joints, and also diabetes mellitus. It is important that the body does not enter a state of deficiency during a reduction diet and that muscle mass is maintained.
Wolfsblut VetLine WEIGHT MANAGEMENT is a special complete dietetic feed that is adapted to the needs of dogs with overweight and diabetes mellitus. The feed contains a high protein content in combination with a low fat and energy content. L-carnitine also ensures the breakdown of fat while maintaining muscle mass. The increased fiber content provides a long-lasting feeling of satiety. Overweight puts excessive strain on joints. Glucosamine and chondroitin contribute to a healthy joint metabolism and thus help to maintain joint function. In addition, the feed is tailored to the needs of diabetic dogs, as carbohydrates that cause a rapid release of glucose have been kept as low as possible. This naturally regulates the glucose supply.

Recommended feeding period for weight loss until the desired body weight is reached and, if necessary, thereafter for maintaining the desired body weight for glucose regulation, initially up to 6 months. For efficient weight loss or maintaining ideal weight, the recommended daily energy intake should not be exceeded. Dietetic feed can only support and not replace veterinary treatment. Therefore, we recommend seeking veterinary advice before feeding or before extending the feeding period. The indicated amount should only be used as a guide. The amount of food should be adjusted to your dog's individual requirements. Every dog is different, and the optimal amount of food varies significantly due to numerous factors such as age, gender, activity, metabolism, and environment. Always provide fresh drinking water.
Contraindications:
Not suitable for puppies, pregnant and lactating bitches, growing dogs, underweight dogs, and dogs with increased energy requirements.
